New York readers! Babes Fest is happening TONIGHT in SoHo and is the perfect event for finding creative inspiration and meeting badass female creators. There will be two panels featuring 9 different women in design, media, music, film, and business including Tom Tom Magazine Founder and Editor-in-Chief Mindy Abovitz! Also, get to know different kick ass organizations you need to hear about:

The General Assembly is a global educational company operating to empower creative people to pursue what work they love. The GA wants to supply people with relevant skills in data, design, business, and technology. Students can take classes online or in person at 15 different campuses across 4 different continents. This is an affordable and accessible education.

Got A Girl Crush is a blog and print magazine made by women, for women, about women. It’s a community dedicated to celebrating badass, hardworking, and creative women with the goal of inspiring women to do the same.

#BossBabesATX is an organization built against stereotypes and the patriarchal systems women are subjected to. This hashtag is about gathering all women together at events and pop ups to empower one another in our respective industries.

The Bettys is a New York based, all female art collective actively cultivating a world for women to make art however they want. Join in the online community, social media, events, art shows, and parties. The Bettys is a fun and safe environment for female artists to create and collaborate.

Cliché Collective is a community for all women to be a part of. They celebrate achievements of boss women all around us and aim to inspire women to be heard. Cliché is Chicago, Illinois based but actively involved with events, like Babes Fest, across the country!
