Now, some of you may have heard of Hungry Ghost as Sara Lund’s new band. If you’ve ever picked up an issue of Tom Tom you have probably seen her name, either as an influence or a contributor. She was previously in Unwound from 1992 to 2002 when the band broke up. They were post-punk at its best and were majorly influential to so many bands of the next generation. Lund herself is an inspirational figure to female drummers (forget female, all drummers). Below is fourteen epic minutes of Unwound “Valentine Card.”
