We love this Peruvian beauty queen. So much, that she’s featured in Issue 4 of Tom Tom and she was also kind enough to play our release party at Cake Shop in NYC a few weeks ago. If you weren’t there, you missed her great DJing. She even played one of my favorite songs, Jurgen Paape “So weit wie noch nie”.
She is primarily a phenomenal beat maker and performer. But really, I think she could be more simply described as an artist, aural and visual, and this can be seen in her blog My Name Looks Like Me in which she has cataloged photos of her travels, time spent on turntables, and various other interesting tid bits of her life.
