The drums by nature are an unapologetically loud instrument. The beauty in playing them is that you can make them purr, rumble or roar depending on what your message is. The main idea is to make them speak in a language that makes sense, to make them come alive with your voice. Whenever I see drums, I see potential. What kind of sounds I can create, what kind of mood can I set, how can I make music! It’s never dull playing the drums for me, even when it’s repetitive, it’s still challenging – getting the right sound & feel is no easy task. It takes a lot of work to get in sync with them. Drums are such a physical instrument, they demand your attention as a player and an auditor, and that’s one of the reasons I really love them. Playing the drums is never boring. EVER. – Bruni Lee of Thundera
