My drumset is by Pacific, recommended to me as a good starter kit. I
have a mortal terror of music stores and chose it impulsively at
Guitar Center on my 32nd birthday after way too many cocktails. Who
could resist the lovely matte red finish? Despite my somewhat lacking
deliberation process, it has served me very well the past five years.
Shortly after adopting it, I met my future band-mates at Ladies Rock
