The world’s first video magazine EWE Zine launches March 21st on YouTube and at ewezine.comForget everything you thought you knew about magazines.

EWE Zine is a new independent magazine for people who don’t follow the crowd. We never write about things, we film instead, publishing our magazine on our website and YouTube, making us the world’s first video magazine.

EWE’s unique format of video has many benefits, helping to bring to life the magic of music where people can hear tracks first hand, rather than through a secondary media source as with traditional print magazines.

You can watch a preview of the magazine here.

EWE Zine had a free launch party today, March 20th, at The Book Club, Shoreditch EC2A 4RH.

Keep an eye out for more on EWE, this is for sure not the last time you’ll see them on the Tom Tom site!

Female Frequency: Screaming A Whisper EP

Female Frequency has created an EP made entirely by women.  Screaming a Whisper, the newest single, highlights
Dani Mari’s ethereal vocals, Claire London’s smokey harmonies and I Am Snow Angel’s eclectic production chops. The track’s dreamy sounds and moody, synth-soaked landscape are reminiscent of the xx.  Screaming a Whisper also includes drums by Kiran Gandhi, aka “Madame Gandhi” and will be released Wednesday, March 8th on International Women’s Day.
Screaming a Whisper was written by I Am Snow Angel, Dani Mari & Claire London.  I Am Snow Angel produced, mixed & engineered the track. Vocal engineering by Jett Galindo and drum engineering by Kimberly Thompson.  Mastering by Maria Rice of Peerless Mastering.  This song is dedicated to all the women working behind the scenes in the music industry.  Click here to listen.
