Tom Tom Magazine is happy to premiere “Back Together” the newest video from band Bang Bang.
Shawn Strub and Mandy Dietz make up this San Francisco-based duo. The vocals on this song are confident and powerful. “Back Together” has a raw, haunting rock sound reminiscent of your fave 90s Riotgrrrl band, but still is super fresh.

The song “Back Together” is loosely based on feelings of abandonment, and the patterns we repeat in life based on early experiences. The video, directed by Chase Roselli and filmed at Avocados and Coconuts in San Francisco, includes projected artwork by Chase that blankets the performance footage with sharp, mesmerizing lines. Other graphics and effects pulse to the music, for a gritty look that reflects the song’s mood. Super 8 mm and still shots of the bandmates in their youth add a wistful nostalgia.
